T5 Awarded the International Standards Organization Certification for Compliance in Information Security Management

T5 takes threats to the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of our clients’ information seriously. We are thrilled to announce that we have been recognized for our commitment to this practice as  an ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certified provider.  This certification confirms that our Information Security Management System (ISMS) has been accredited by a third-party auditor from the International Standards Organization.

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an information security management system standard published in October 2013 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS) and their requirements. Additional best practices in data protection and cyber resilience are covered by more than a dozen standards in the ISO/IEC 27000 family. Together, they enable organizations of all sectors and sizes to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee data and information entrusted by third parties.

A-lign, an independent, third-party auditor, found T5 to have technical controls in place and formalized IT Security policies and procedures. A-lign is an ISO / IEC 27001 certification body accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to perform ISMS 27001 certifications. T5 has implemented several security measures and countermeasures that protect it from unauthorized access or compromise and our IT personnel were found to be conscientious and knowledgeable in best practices.

Compliance with this internationally recognized standard confirms that T5’s security management program is comprehensive and follows leading practices. This certification demonstrates our continued commitment to information security at every level and ensures that the security of our customer’s data and information has been addressed, implemented, and properly controlled in all areas of our organization.
