Pete Marin is the Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board of Directors for T5 Data Centers. He also serves on the Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, and Investment Committee. The vision for T5 began with a business plan Pete developed and presented in 2006 while at The Staubach Company. The concept was clear: establish high-quality data center capacity in strategic low-cost TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) markets as a new division of Staubach. In 2008, Pete successfully brought this vision to life, convincing three Staubach colleagues to join him on this journey.

Today, T5 Data Centers operates across two continents with three divisions—Development, Construction, and Operations—serving hyperscale, enterprise, and institutional customers. Under Pete’s leadership, T5 has grown to over 500 employees, 22 markets, raised over $5 billion in capital, and is executing an ambitious strategy to develop, construct, and operate 5 GW of capacity.

As the driving force behind T5 Data Centers, Pete oversees the company’s strategic direction, operational excellence, and growth initiatives. With over 25 years of experience in mission-critical real estate and infrastructure, he has been pivotal in shaping T5’s vision, fostering strong client partnerships, and driving sustainable growth. His forward-thinking leadership has solidified T5’s reputation as a trusted provider of high-performance data centers, consistently exceeding industry standards and remaining a partner of choice for enterprise, hyperscale, and institutional clients globally.

Before founding T5, Pete was Executive Vice President at The Staubach Company, where he established and led one of the company’s first practice groups, specializing in tailored real estate solutions for call center and data center clients across North America. Earlier in his career, he held sales roles at Trammell Crow, MCI, and 3M.

Pete also serves on the board of The Georgia Chamber. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Pamplin School of Business at Virginia Tech.

As Chief Operating Officer & President of T5 Services at T5 Data Centers, Tom Mertz oversees the company’s comprehensive operations, including data center operations, construction, safety and EHS programs, human resources, equipment procurement, sales, marketing, and the seamless execution of business strategies. Since joining T5 in 2022, Tom has been instrumental in driving company growth, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring the consistent delivery of quality results that meet client needs.

Before joining T5, Tom served as CEO of CPG, where he redefined how high-powered facilities are designed, built, and maintained, enabling the company to outpace industry growth. His career also includes senior leadership roles at QTS and Lee Technologies, where he played a pivotal role in transforming both companies into leading data center solution providers.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Public and Urban Affairs from Georgia State University and has pursued advanced leadership education at Emory’s Goizueta Business School and George Mason University. His ability to anticipate challenges and align teams around strategic goals ensures T5 delivers exceptional value to its clients while fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Karen Stein serves as the General Counsel at T5 Data Centers, bringing over 25 years of legal experience to her role. She is responsible for overseeing all legal and regulatory matters for the company, providing strategic guidance on commercial transactions, corporate governance, risk management, and legal compliance.
Before joining T5, Karen held several senior leadership positions in the data center and technology industries. She served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at CPG, where she led legal operations from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Legal for Iron Mountain’s Data Centers division, where she played a pivotal role in supporting global expansion and operational growth. Karen also held the position of General Counsel at IO, where she managed all legal affairs for the company’s innovative data center infrastructure business.
Karen’s extensive legal background also includes her tenure as Assistant General Counsel at PGA TOUR and as an associate at Troutman Sanders LLP.
With a proven track record of driving legal strategy in fast-paced, high-growth environments, Karen is a key contributor to T5’s success and legal integrity. She holds a J.D. from Emory University School of Law, as well as an MBA from Loyola University, and has built a reputation for providing clear, actionable legal guidance in complex business settings.

Steve Glinski is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at T5 Data Centers, overseeing the company’s accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and FP&A functions. With over 25 years of experience in real estate and infrastructure finance, he plays a key role in driving the company’s financial strategy and supporting long-term growth.

Steve has held multiple leadership roles at T5 since 2015, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Accounting, where he oversaw corporate and project-level financial operations, managed audits and compliance, and supported capital allocation across the platform.

Prior to T5, Steve spent over 12 years at The Donohoe Companies in various accounting leadership roles, including Treasurer and Corporate Controller. He started his career as a Senior Associate at CohnReznick LLP where he specialized in real estate-focused audit and tax engagements.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from West Virginia University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

As Chief Development Officer of T5 Data Centers, Jimmy Bailey leads the company’s development initiatives, overseeing the design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of both new and existing data center campuses. Since co-founding T5, Jimmy has played a crucial role in scaling the company’s development platform, ensuring each project is executed with precision and delivered on time and within budget. 

Prior to joining T5, Jimmy served as Senior Vice President at The Staubach Company, where he was responsible for strategic real estate development and project management. His deep technical knowledge and strategic vision drive innovation across T5’s projects, establishing the company as a leader in scalable, high-performance data center solutions. 

Jimmy earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His leadership, marked by a focus on quality and operational excellence, continues to shape T5’s reputation as a trusted partner in the data center industry.
