T5 Data Centers Appoints David Mettler as New EVP of Sales and Marketing

ATLANTA, Ga. – January 22, 2023 – T5 Data Centers (T5), the telecommunications industry’s
only full lifecycle data center partner, announced the appointment of David Mettler as its new
Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mettler will oversee all marketing and sales
operations and play a key role in driving the company’s growth strategy.

“David is a proven leader with over 20 years of experience driving company growth and sales
strategies for leading digital infrastructure brands,” said T5 Data Centers Chief Operating
Officer, Tom Mertz. “His expertise in overall strategy, sales development and enablement will be
invaluable as we expand our market footprint and execute on T5’s vision of delivering large
campus capacity to targeted end users. Additionally, his experience in data center services will
help us continue to drive customer growth in our facility management and construction services
lines of business.”

Mettler entered the telecommunications industry as a data networking engineer and later moved
into sales before transitioning into data centers selling managed services and colocation
solutions. Mettler previously worked as a data center development consultant for the Rockefeller
Group, Chief Revenue Officer at CPG, Vice President of Sales of Iron Mountain, VP of Sales,
and Head of Sales in EMEA for SAVVIS based out of London.

Mettler holds a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. He resides in
Rowayton, Connecticut, with his wife, Betsy and children. In his personal time, he is active in the
community, his church, and playing tennis, as well as cruising the waters along his coastal town
with Betsy and their two daughters, both skilled sailors.
